Hwang Hyun-jin (; born March 20, 2000), known mononymously as Hyunjin, is a South Korean rapper, singer and dancer. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Stray Kids, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2017. Aside from his work with Stray Kids, he has worked as a television presenter, hosting the weekly Korean music program ''Show! Music Core'' (2019–2021), and has worked as a brand ambassador for luxury brands, such as Versace, Cartier (jeweler), Cartier, and Givenchy, Givenchy Beauty. Early life and education Hwang Hyun-jin was born on March 20, 2000, in Seoul, South Korea. Hyunjin had no dance training prior to becoming a trainee idol. Stray Kids (often abbreviated to SKZ; ) is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment. The band consists of eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han (musician), Han, Felix (rapper), Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. For undisclosed personal reasons, Kim Woojin, Woojin left the band in October 2019. Christopher Chahn Bahng (born 3 October 1997), known professionally as Bang Chan (), is an Australian singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer based in South Korea. Signed to JYP Entertainment, he is the leader of the South Korean boy band Stray Kids and a member of 3Racha, an in-house production team and sub-unit of Stray Kids.
