Hyde (musician)
, known by his stage name Hyde (stylized in uppercase, upper or lowercase), is a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor. Best known as the lead vocalist of the Rock music, rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel since 1991, he is also the lead vocalist of Vamps (band), Vamps and has a solo career. Hyde rose to fame in the 1990s as part of L'Arc-en-Ciel, who have sold over 40 million records and were the first Japanese act to perform a solo show at Madison Square Garden. He began a successful solo career in 2001, releasing several number one singles, and many of his albums have reached the top five on the Oricon chart. In 2008, Hyde teamed up with K.A.Z to form the hard rock duo Vamps. Vamps (band)
Vamps is a Japanese rock music, rock duo formed in 2008 by Hyde (musician), Hyde (vocalist, rhythm guitarist, lyricist and composer) and K.A.Z (lead guitarist, backing vocalist and composer). Only a year after their founding, Vamps performed its first international tour, ten dates in the United States, and in 2010 they went on their first world tour. Originally signed to Hyde's own record label Vamprose, every release the band has had to date has reached the top ten on the Oricon music chart. Apocalyptica is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Helsinki, formed in 1993. The band is currently composed of three classically trained cellists Eicca Toppinen, Paavo Lötjönen, and Perttu Kivilaakso. is an indoor stadium in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan. ''Dune'' is the debut album by Japanese rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel. It was released by the independent label Danger Crue Records, first in a limited edition on April 10, 1993, and followed by a regular edition on April 27, which contained an additional tenth track. The regular edition reached number 1 on the Oricon indies chart on May 10. A 10th anniversary edition of ''Dune'' was released on April 21, 2004. It was remastered and contains three bonus tracks. It debuted at number 5 on the Oricon Albums Chart. Overview A recording of "Floods of Tears" was previously released as a single on November 25, 1992. The version of the song included on the album is different and does not feature original drummer Pero. Danger Crue Records is a Japanese visual kei independent record label located in Tokyo, Japan. It was originally the record label of the Danger Crue music office, both founded in 1981. According to D'erlanger drummer Tetsu, Danger Crue was formed for the heavy metal band 44Magnum. The first release by Danger Crue was the album ''Insane'' by Reaction in July 1985. In April 2000, the office changed its name to the Maverick D.C. Group but continues to run the Danger Crue Records label. The monument dedicated to the memory of Salvador Allende was installed in Parc Jean-Drapeau, on Île Notre-Dame in Montreal on September 11, 2009, the 36th anniversary of the coup d'état in Chile and Salvador Allende's death. The monument was created by artist Michel de Broin in 2009. Named ''L'Arc'', the monument is in the form of a curved tree whose branches reach down into the ground. ''L'Arc'' was designed as a complex symbol whose meaning was to be open to individual interpretation, though de Broin has said that he was inspired by a passage in Salvador Allende's last speech to the Chilean people when he said: "I am certain that the seeds which we have planted in the good conscience of thousands and thousands of Chileans will not be shriveled forever. Danzig is an American heavy metal band led by former Misfits and Samhain frontman Glenn Danzig. In This Moment is an American Rock music, rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star.
