Hybrid Ice (album)
''Hybrid Ice'' is the debut album from the Pennsylvania-based rock band Hybrid Ice, released in 1982. Although not released on a major label, the album reached No. 5 on regional album charts in the US. It contains the hit song "Magdelene," which received much radio play and was later covered in 1994 by Boston on their album '' Walk On''. In 1984, Boston had asked to record Magdelene for what would later become their ''Third Stage'' album, Hybrid Ice agreed to stop sales of their own album. But the song didn't make it to a Boston album until 1994. Six years later, in 2000, Hybrid Ice signed a deal with Escape Records of England, and re-released the album (with Magdelene) on compact disc. Hybrid Ice is a rock band from Danville, Pennsylvania, most notable for its song "Magdelene" released on the album '' Hybrid Ice'' in 1982, which became a regional radio hit at the time. "Magdelene" was later covered by Boston on their 1994 album '' Walk On''. In 1984, with two sold out shows, Hybrid Ice was the first rock band ever to play at the Bloomsburg Fair. Third Stage
''Third Stage'' is the third studio album by the American rock band Boston, released on September 26, 1986, on MCA Records. It was recorded at Boston co-founder Tom Scholz's Hideaway Studio over a long, strained, six-year period "between floods and power failures". Scholz and vocalist Brad Delp were the only original members. The lyrics invoke themes of aging and working through stages in life. The first track and lead single, " Amanda", became a number one hit and one of the group's best known songs. The album itself was eventually certified 4× platinum by the RIAA. Development After winning a legal battle with Epic Records, Scholz switched Boston to the MCA record label. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Guitars
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. It is usually held flat against the player's body and played by strumming or plucking the strings with the dominant hand, while simultaneously pressing selected strings against frets with the fingers of the opposite hand.
