Hyalinobatrachium Colymbiphyllum
''Hyalinobatrachium colymbiphyllum'', also called the bare-hearted glass frog, plantation glass frog and the cricket glass frog, is a species of frog in the family Centrolenidae that is found in moist forests, often near streams, in countries in Central America and South America. They are small, green frogs with many similarities to other glass frogs, however, they have the most transparent undersides of any glass frogs. Their transparent undersides make them ideal bio-indicators for how global warming and other threats are affecting the animals in the forests. Characteristics Bare-hearted glass frogs are similar in features to most glass frogs but have their own distinct characteristics. Like most glass frogs, they are small and green with yellow spots and transparent undersides. The transparent undersides are the main feature of most glass frogs, but the bare-hearted glass frog has the clearest underside, allowing almost full visibility of their internal organs. Their transpa ...

Hyalinobatrachium Mondolfii
''Hyalinobatrachium mondolfii'' is a species of frog in the family Centrolenidae from northern South America. Distribution Its distribution is poorly known but has two main areas: western Amazonian basin in Leticia in southeastern Colombia, Acre in western Brazil, and Pando Department in northern Bolivia, and the Guiana Shield region in Pará in northern Brazil, southern Suriname, Guyana, and Delta Amacuro and Monagas states in northeastern Venezuela. It is very similar to '' Hyalinobatrachium munozorum'' and ''Hyalinobatrachium ruedai'', and it may be impossible to distinguish these species on the basis of morphological characteristics alone. Description ''Hyalinobatrachium mondolfii'' has snout that is rounded in dorsal and lateral view. The tympanumic membrane is not visible. The belly and parietal peritoneum are transparent, whereas pericardium is white with minute melanophores. The dorsum is green with small yellow dots and minute melanophores. ''Hyalinobatrachium ibama'' is a species of frog in the family Centrolenidae. It is found in the Cordillera Oriental, Santander Department, Colombia, and in Barinas, Venezuela. Its natural habitats are old-growth forests near streams. It is threatened by habitat loss. Habitat The ''Hyalinobatrachium ibama'' frog, commonly known for its unique characteristics, thrives in the lush riparian habitats of old-growth forests. These pristine environments provide the ideal setting for the species to lay its eggs, a process that unfolds on the vegetation while the tadpoles undergo their development in the nearby streams. The delicate balance of these habitats is crucial for the survival and reproduction of this intriguing amphibian. Hyalinobatrachium Iaspidiense
''Hyalinobatrachium iaspidiense'' (common name: Yuruani glass frog, in Spanish ''ranita de cristal de Jaspe'') is a species of frog in the family Centrolenidae from South America. Its specific name refers Quebrada de Jaspe, its type locality. There is some disagreement whether ''Hyalinobatrachium nouraguensis'' is a junior synonym of ''Hyalinobatrachium iaspidiense'' or not. Specifically, as of early 2016, the latest assessment from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) treats ''Hyalinobatrachium nouraguensis'' as a valid species that is of "Least Concern". Distribution According to the more inclusive definition of ''Hyalinobatrachium iaspidiense'', the species is distributed in Venezuelan Guiana, central Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, western Ecuador ( Sucumbíos and Napo Provinces), northeastern Peru (Loreto Region), and western Brazil ( Amazonas and Mato Grosso). It is expected to occur in Colombia but not recorded there. Description ''Hyalinobatr ...

Hyalinobatrachium Guairarepanense
''Hyalinobatrachium guairarepanense'' is a species of frog in the family Centrolenidae. It is endemic to Venezuela, where it is found in locations in the Coastal Range at elevations between above sea level. Its natural habitats are seasonal (semi-deciduous) forests where it occurs along streams. The eggs are laid on leaves overhanging a stream to which the hatched larvae drop and where they continue their development. It is threatened by habitat loss. However, it has declined also in pristine habitats, suggesting that chytridiomycosis (or other disease) may be at play. Its range includes the El Ávila National Park The Ávila National Park, officially known as Waraira Repano National Park for its indigenous Island Caribs, Cariban name, protects part of the Cordillera de la Costa Central mountain range, in the coastal region of central-northern Venezuela.
