Hy is a dialect of the Lisp programming language designed to interact with Python by translating s-expressions into Python's abstract syntax tree (AST). HY (satellite)
Haiyang (HY, ) is a series of marine remote sensing satellites developed and operated by the People's Republic of China since 2002. The name "Haiyang" translates to "ocean" in English. , eight satellites have been launched with ten more planned. Built by the state-owned aerospace contractor China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), Haiyang satellites carry a variety of ocean-imaging sensor payloads and are operated by the National Satellite Ocean Application Service (NSOAS), a subordinate agency of the State Oceanic Administration (SOA). H-Y antigen is a male tissue specific antigen. Originally thought to trigger the formation of testes (via Locus (genetics), loci, an Autosome, autosomal gene that Gene expression, generates the antigen and one that generates the Receptor (biochemistry), receptor) it is now known that it does not trigger the formation of testes but may be activated by the formation of testes. HY is a Japanese rock band formed in 2000 by five high school friends from Okinawa. History Their name comes from the initials of their hometown, Higashi Yakena. The band's popularity rose rapidly after a series of street performances; their debut album, ''Departure'', released on 22 September 2001 (Okinawa-only), sold out immediately. In 2003, the band conducted a joint live performance with Linkin Park. Their second album, ''Street Story'', released on 16 April 2003 topped the Oricon charts, staying at number 1 for four straight weeks (Indies Artist Record). Hy (island)
Iona (; , sometimes simply ''Ì'') is an island in the Inner Hebrides, off the Ross of Mull on the western coast of Scotland. It is mainly known for Iona Abbey, though there are other buildings on the island. Iona Abbey was a centre of Gaelic monasticism for three centuries and is today known for its relative tranquility and natural environment. It is a tourist destination and a place for spiritual retreats. Its modern Scottish Gaelic name means "Iona of (Saint) Columba" (formerly anglicised as "Icolmkill"). In 2019, Iona's estimated population was 120. HY-80 is a high-tensile, high yield strength, low alloy steel. It was developed for use in naval applications, specifically the development of pressure hulls for the US nuclear submarine program and is still currently used in many naval applications. It is valued for its strength to weight ratio. The "HY" steels are designed to possess a high yield strength (strength in resisting permanent plastic deformation). HY-80 is accompanied by HY-100 and HY-130 with each of the 80, 100 and 130 referring to their yield strength in ksi (80,000 psi, 100,000 psi and 130,000 psi). HY Velorum is a binary star system in the southern constellation of Vela. It is a dim star but visible to the naked eye with an apparent visual magnitude of 4.83. The distance to this system, as estimated from its annual parallax shift of , is 460 light years. HY Vel most likely forms a gravitationally bound pair with the magnitude 5.45 binary system KT Vel (HD 74535); both are members of the IC 2391 open cluster. As of 1998, HY Vel and KT Vel had an angular separation of along a position angle of 311°.
