Hussein Al-Dhufairi
Hussein Al-Dhufairi (born 1977) is a citizen of Kuwait who is a suspected member of Daesh (ISIL). He was arrested, in Manila, Philippines, in March, 2017. He was arrested with Rahaf Zina, a Syrian woman, also suspected of being a member of the group. He was extradited to Kuwait, in April, 2017. The ''Arab Times'' reported that Rahaf Zina was al-Dhufairi was his wife. The ''Philippine Daily Inquirer'' described her as his sister-in-law, and widow of his recently deceased brother, senior Daesh leader, Abdul Mohsen Al-Dhufairi. The Islamic State (IS), also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Daesh, is a transnational Salafi jihadist organization and unrecognized quasi-state. Abdul Mohsen Al-Dhufairi
Abu Jandal al-Kuwaiti (1970s/80s – 26 December 2016; born Abdul Mohsen al-Zaghilani al-Taresh or Abdul Mohsen Al-Dhufairi) was a leading official of the Islamic State, serving as important military commander, recruiter and propagandist. Known for his command capabilities and popular among his subordinates, Abu Jandal was called "The Lion" among IS fighters and fought in several battles in Syria and Iraq. By late 2016, Abu Jandal had become IS' second highest-ranking commander in Syria and led the defense of its ''de facto'' capital Raqqa against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
