''Hunter Planet'', subtitled "The All Australian Role Playing Game," is a humorous role-playing game published by H-PAC (Hunter Planet Adventurers Club) in 1986. Description The players take on the role of aliens who have travelled to Earth to go on safari and hunt the unintelligent humans that inhabit the planet. The alien tourists arrive with shoddy or non-functioning equipment and quickly learn that the humans fight back. The role-playing rules are minimal. Hunter Planet, The All Australian Role Playing Game
Hunting is the human activity, human practice of seeking, pursuing, capturing, or killing wildlife or feral animals. Boxed Set
A box set or (its original name) boxed set is a set of items (for example, a compilation of books, musical recordings, films or television programs) traditionally packaged in a box and offered for sale as a single unit. Music Artists and bands with an extremely long and successful career often have anthology or "essential" collections of their boxes of music released as box sets. These often include rare and never-before-released tracks. Some box sets collect previously released boxes of singles or albums by a music artist, and often collect the complete discography of an artist such as Pink Floyd's '' Oh, by the Way'' and '' Discovery'' sets. Gamemaster's Screen
A gamemaster's screen, also called a GM's screen, is a gaming accessory, usually made out of either cardboard or card stock, and is used by the gamemaster to hide all the relevant data related to a tabletop role-playing game session from the players in order to not spoil the plot of the story. It also hides any dice rolls made by the gamemaster that players should not see. In addition, screens often have essential tables and information printed on the inside for the gamemaster to easily reference during play. History The first commercial gamemaster's screen was the ''Judge's Shield'', produced by Judges Guild in 1977 for use with ''Dungeons & Dragons''. This featured three pieces of 8.5" x 11" cardstock designed to be taped together to form a three-panel screen, the two outer pieces in a vertical (portrait) orientation, and the middle piece in a horizontal (landscape) orientation. ''TWERPS'' (''The World's Easiest Role-Playing System'') is a minimalist role-playing game (RPG) originally created by Reindeer Games (whose sole product was the ''TWERPS'' line) and distributed by Gamescience. Role-playing or roleplaying is the changing of one's behaviour to assume a role, either unconsciously to fill a social role, or consciously to act out an adopted role.
