Hunter Feduccia
Hunter Feduccia (born June 5, 1997) is an American professional baseball catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was drafted by the Dodgers in the 12th round of the 2018 MLB Draft out of Louisiana State University. Career Amateur career Feduccia played baseball at Barbe High School, where he hit .353 in his senior season and won three state championships. He went to Louisiana State University at Eunice for two seasons, and was voted Defensive Player of the Year both seasons. Feduccia transferred to Louisiana State University where he batted .233 in 56 games during the 2018 season. Los Angeles Dodgers Feduccia made his professional debut with the rookie–level Ogden Raptors in 2018 and was promoted to the Single–A Great Lakes Loons after only three games. Catcher is a position in baseball and softball. When a batter takes their turn to hit, the catcher crouches behind home plate, in front of the (home) umpire, and receives the ball from the pitcher. In addition to this primary duty, the catcher is also called upon to master many other skills in order to field the position well. The role of the catcher is similar to that of the wicket-keeper in cricket. Positioned behind home plate and facing toward the outfield, the catcher can see the whole field, and is therefore in the best position to direct and lead the other players in a defensive play. Drew Thomas Rasmussen (born July 27, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Milwaukee Brewers, for whom he made his MLB debut in 2020. Amateur career Rasmussen attended Mt. Spokane High School in Mead, Washington, and later attended the Oregon State University where he played college baseball for the Beavers.
