Hunted (1972 Film)
''Hunted'' is a 1972 British two-hander dramatic short film directed by Peter Crane and starring Edward Woodward and June Ritchie. The screenplay was by Michael Sloan, who co-produced the film with Crane for their independent company The Pemini Organisation. Plot Estate agent Margaret Lord is showing John Drummond the small office he is interested in renting. Suddenly he locks the door and tells her that at noon he is going to shoot people in the street below. She tries to reason with him. As he assembles his hitherto concealed shotgun he tells her that his wife has left him for another man, taking their children. When noon comes he shoots into the street. The police arrive. He shoots at Margaret but she is not injured. His shotgun is loaded with blanks. He goes to the window, shoots several times into the street, and is then shot in the head by a police marksman. ''Targets'' is a 1968 American crime thriller film directed by Peter Bogdanovich in his theatrical directorial debut, and starring Tim O'Kelly, Boris Karloff, Nancy Hsueh, Bogdanovich, James Brown, Arthur Peterson and Sandy Baron. ''Assassin'' is a 1973 British thriller film directed by Peter Crane and starring Ian Hendry, Edward Judd and Frank Windsor. It was written by Michael Sloan. Plot MI5 intends to liquidate Ministry of Defence official John Stacy, suspected of leaking secrets. Rather than using their own personnel they hire a professional hitman. The assassin is a disillusioned and troubled man, following his accidental killing of a bystander during a previous job. When the time comes for him to kill Stacy, at the wedding of his colleague Craig, MI5 learn that Stacey is not guilty, but it is too late to contact the assassin and call him off, so two MI5 officers are sent to stop him. Before they can, the assassin is run over by a car. However, unknown to MI5, the assassin has a back-up man who shoots Stacy. It transpires that the real spy was Craig. Peter Bogdanovich (July 30, 1939 – January 6, 2022) was an American director, writer, actor, producer, critic, and film historian. He started out his career as a young actor studying under Stella Adler before working as a film critic for ''Film Culture'' and ''Esquire'' and finally becoming a prominent filmmaker of the New Hollywood movement. He received accolades including a BAFTA Award and Grammy Award, as well as nominations for two Academy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. Graham Dee (born Graham Davidson, 2 March 1943) is an English musician. Early life Graham Dee was born in Whitechapel, East London, England. Dee has lived his life with a neuromuscular disorder that results in a series of ticks, twitches, and spasms which has created a weakness in his neck. He attended boarding school in Hertfordshire, where he started playing guitar after hearing Lonnie Donegan's "Rock Island Line". He then went on to a college for the disabled where he qualified in gardening but kept up his guitar playing, forming an ad hoc group and playing for scrumpy in the cider pubs of Leatherhead.
