Hundsangen
Hundsangen is an ''Ortsgemeinde'' – a community belonging to a ''Verbandsgemeinde'' – in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Geography Location The village is located in the Westerwald region between Montabaur and Limburg an der Lahn right at the boundary between Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse. Hundsangen is the biggest and also liveliest village in the Wallmerod (Verbandsgemeinde), ''Verbandsgemeinde'' of Wallmerod (some kind of collective municipality). Leisure facilities are abundant because of the geographic circumstances. Transport opportunities to the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Region and the Cologne/Bonn Region are well developed. Wallmerod (Verbandsgemeinde)
Wallmerod is a ''Verbandsgemeinde'' ("collective municipality") in the district Westerwaldkreis, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The seat of the ''Verbandsgemeinde'' is in Wallmerod. History The collective municipality of Wallmerod was formed on 1 March 1972, from 15 local communities of the Oberwesterwald circle and five municipalities in the Unterwesterwaldkreis. It was thus initially in the field of ''two'' counties, which changed in 1974 when the Westerwaldkreis had been rebuilt. Wallmerod was chosen as the administrative headquarters, because of its history as the seat of a local court. Dreikirchen is an ''Ortsgemeinde'' – a community belonging to a ''Verbandsgemeinde'' – in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The Westerwaldkreis ("District of Westerwald") is a district (''Kreis'') in the north-east of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Neighbouring districts are (from north clockwise) Altenkirchen (district), Altenkirchen, Lahn-Dill, Limburg-Weilburg, Rhein-Lahn, the district-free city Koblenz, Mayen-Koblenz and Neuwied (district), Neuwied. Elz, Hesse
Elz is a municipality in Limburg-Weilburg district in western Hesse, Germany, on the boundary with Rhineland-Palatinate. Geography Location Elz lies at an elevation of 110 to 291 m north of the Lahn in the Limburg Basin with the municipal area reaching into the heights on its western edge and thereby into the area of the Lower Westerwald (''Elzer Wald'').
