Hunan Provincial Party Committee
Hunan is an inland province in Central China. Located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze watershed, it borders the province-level divisions of Hubei to the north, Jiangxi to the east, Guangdong and Guangxi to the south, and Guizhou and Chongqing to the northwest. Its capital and largest city is Changsha, which abuts the Xiang River. Hengyang, Zhuzhou, and Yueyang are among its most populous urban cities. Shen Xiaoming
Shen Xiaoming (; born May 1963) is a Chinese politician who is currently the Chinese Communist Party Committee Secretary of Hunan. A pediatrician by training, Shen rose through the ranks in the health and education bureaucracy of Shanghai. He successively served as party chief of Pudong and vice minister of education. Kam People
The Kam people ( Kam: , ), officially known in China as Dong people (), are a Kam–Sui people and one of the 56 ethnic groups officially recognized by the People's Republic of China. They live mostly in eastern Guizhou, western Hunan and northern Guangxi. Small pockets of Kam speakers are found in Tuyên Quang Province in Vietnam. Hmong People
The Hmong people ( RPA: , CHV: ''Hmôngz'', Nyiakeng Puachue: , Pahawh Hmong: , , zh, c=苗族蒙人) are an indigenous group in East Asia and Southeast Asia. In China, the Hmong people are classified as a sub-group of the Miao people. The modern Hmong reside mainly in Southwestern China and Mainland Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar. The National People's Congress (NPC) is the highest organ of state power of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Mao Wanchun
Mao Wanchun (; born October 1961) is a Chinese politician who is the current chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He served as Chairman of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference from January 2018 to January 2023. He was formerly Chinese Communist Party Deputy Committee Secretary of Shaanxi province. Mao spent much of his early career in his native Henan province, where he served as Party Chief of Luoyang.
