Humberto Contreras
Humberto Contreras (born August 21, 1983) is a Mexican figure skater. He is a four-time Mexican national champion ('02, '03, '05, '09) and competed in the final segment at six Four Continents Championships. Career Contreras began learning to skate in 1997. Early in his career, he was coached by Darin Carlton, Alexei Muratov (2001–02), Alesandro Chavez (2002–03), and Wendy Boyland (2003–04) in Mexico City. At the 2004 Four Continents Championships, he became the first Mexican skater to perform a triple Salchow triple Loop combination in competition. In May 2004, Contreras began training under Julie Graham and Rocio Salas in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Elmer Figueroa Arce (born June 28, 1968), better known under the stage name Chayanne, is a Puerto Rican Latin pop singer and actor. Vanessa-Mae (陈美 Chén Měi; born 27 October 1978) also called Vanessa-Mae Vanakorn Nicholson, is a Singaporean-born British violinist with album sales reaching several million, having made her the wealthiest entertainer under 30 in the United Kingdom in 2006. Trevor Charles Rabin (; born ) is a South African rock musician and composer. Born into a musical family and raised in Johannesburg, Rabin took up the piano and guitar at an early age and became a session musician, playing and producing with a variety of artists. In 1972, he joined the rock band Rabbitt who enjoyed considerable success in South Africa, and released his first solo album, '' Beginnings''. "Allá en el Rancho Grande" is a Mexican song. It was written in the 1920s for a musical theatrical work, but now is most commonly associated with the eponymous 1936 Mexican motion picture ''Allá en el Rancho Grande'', in which it was sung by renowned actor and singer Tito Guízar and with mariachis. Bing Crosby recorded the song on April 3, 1939 as "El Rancho Grande" and it reached the No. 6 spot in the charts during a ten-week stay in 1939. Crosby recorded the song again in 1954 for the album Bing: A Musical Autobiography. The song was featured in the film '' Mexicali Rose'' (1939) starring Gene Autry. "Guadalajara" is a well-known mariachi song written and composed by Pepe Guízar in 1937. Guízar wrote the song in honor of his hometown, the city of the same name and state capital of the Mexican state of Jalisco.
