Humber College Bus Terminal
Humber College is a below-grade light rail transit (LRT) station that is under construction on Line 6 Finch West, part of the Toronto subway system. The station is located at the southwest corner of Highway 27 and Humber College Boulevard on the Humber Polytechnic North Campus in the Etobicoke district of Toronto. It will be the western terminus of Line 6. A walkway will connect the LRT station to the nearby Humber College Bus Terminal. The station's name refers to Humber Polytechnic's former name. Description The station will be located below street level in an open trench running parallel to Highway 27. The station will have two street-level entrances, one entrance on the south side of Humber College Boulevard, the second further south facing a new street that will intersect with Highway 27. MiWay (; stylized MiWay), also known as Mississauga Transit and originally as Mississauga Transit Systems, is the municipal public transport agency serving Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, and is responsible to the city's Transportation and Works Department. 511 Züm Steeles
511 Zum Steeles is a bus rapid transit route in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The final corridor outlined in Phase 1 started service on November 26, 2012. The route runs from the Brampton Gateway Terminal at Steeles Avenue and Hurontario Street to Humber College North Campus at Finch Avenue West and Highway 27 in Toronto with connections to the planned Line 6 Finch West line and various express bus services, via Bramalea GO Train Station. Though largely industrial through Brampton, Steeles Avenue sees bus service every six minutes on current route 11. This is the only planned corridor to operate almost entirely within Brampton city limits. In September 2015, limited service on 511 Zum Steeles was extended to Lisgar GO Station operating only on weekdays. Eventually, full service on the entire route were implemented. Brampton Gateway Terminal
Brampton Gateway Terminal is a Brampton Transit bus station serving the south-central and western areas of Brampton, Ontario. It is located on the north-west corner of Steeles Avenue and Main Street adjoining the Shoppers World Brampton shopping centre. The terminal opened on November 26, 2012 to replace the Shoppers World Terminal on the south-west side of the shopping centre. History In 2009, the manager of Land Use Policy recommended that, with the addition of Acceleride (later Züm) and a proposed Hurontario–Main LRT, there was a "demonstrated need" to move the terminal to the corner of Hurontario and Steeles. Such a move would allow less diversion time from the route to the station, and for a larger station.
