Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye
''Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye'' () is a Hindi language Indian television series that aired on Sony Entertainment Television, which premiered on 4 March 2001. The series was produced by Shobhana Desai, it starred Kartika Rane, Aashish Chaudhary, and Perizaad Zorabian. The series was nominated for numerous award categories at the time it was on-air, such as Prasoon Joshi was nominated for "TV Lyricist of the Year" award and Sanjay Upadhyay was nominated for "TV Director of the Year" award at the Indian Telly Awards in 2002. Plot Shot extensively on locations abroad, ''Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye'' showed the story of a young, educated, Indian girl Mallika, who is hurriedly married to an NRI Rahul, within a short span of 10 days. Sulbha Arya
Sulabha Arya (born 15 July 1950) is an Indian actress in Hindi and Marathi film, television and stage industry. She is married to late veteran Indian cinematographer Ishan Arya and mother of cinematographer Sameer Arya and actor Sagar Arya. Manoj N. Joshi (born 14 December 1965) is an Indian actor known for working in film, stage and television. He has acted in over 70 films since 1998, many of his roles being comic roles. Rakesh Pandey (9 April 1940 – 21 March 2025) was an Indian actor in Hindi and Bhojpuri films. He appeared in TV serials such as ''Chotti Bahu'' and ''Dehleez''. He was an alumnus of the Indian Film and Television Institute, Pune. Life and career Born in Ambala East Punjab, Rakesh graduated from Shamsher High School Nahan in 1961. He was a graduate of Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 1966, he left the Indian Film and Television Institute and joined the IPTA. His film debut came in 1969 in '' Sara Akash'', based on the novel by Rajendra Yadav, and directed by Basu Chatterjee. He was awarded the President's Award. Vipul Amrutlal Shah (commonly known as Vipul Shah) is a film producer and director of Hindi films. He began his career with Gujarati theatre.
