Michiel Huisman (; born 18 July 1981) is a Dutch actor who has acted in both Dutch and English-language TV series and films. Jopie Huisman
Jopie Huisman (18 October 1922 – 29 September 2000) was a Dutch autodidactic painter and rag-and-bone man. During his lifetime, he became known for his meticulous and realistic paintings. Huisman refused to sell any of his paintings. On 11 April 1986, Huisman opened his own museum. Biography Jopie Huisman was born on 18 October 1922 in Workum, Friesland. In 1939, he became a ceramics painter at the earthenware factory of Aurora. In 1942, he was arrested during a raid and put to work at a labor camp in Kassel, Germany. One day, he was looking at the sky and thought he saw a flock of geese. Suddenly the factory next door collapsed. The bombing of Kassel had started. Royal Huisman is a Dutch shipbuilding company that specializes in the newbuild construction and refit, rebuild and renewal of sailing and motor yachts. The shipyard was established in 1884 in Ronduite as a builder of wooden workboats and fishing boats. Hendrikus Josephus Huisman (born 18 June 1951) is a Dutch television presenter and musician. Biography Huisman had a catholic upbringing. Originally trained as a window dresser, he was a drummer, DJ and event host before he enrolled in the world of television. Sjoerd Huisman (19 June 1986 – 30 December 2013) was a Dutch speed skater who specialised in marathon speed skating. Career Huisman made his debut in marathon speed skating in 2005 to become one of the best sprinters in the peloton. His biggest success was winning the Dutch championship on natural ice in 2009 at the Oostvaardersplassen. A year later Huisman won the Essent Cup and the Dutch Open at the Austrian Weissensee. Johannes Alphonsus Huisman (30 April 1919 – 7 February 2003), also known as J. A. Huisman, was a Dutch philologist who specialized in Germanic studies. Biography Johannes Alphonsus Huisman was born in Wijk bij Duurstede, Netherlands on 30 April 1919. He received his Ph.D. in German philology at Utrecht University in 1950 under the supervision of . In May 1953, Huisman was appointed Professor of Comparative Germanic Linguistics and the Languages and Literature of the Germanic Peoples. He retired from the University of Utrecht in September 1982.
