Hui Brothers Show
''Hui Brothers Show'' is a Hong Kong sketch comedy television series produced by TVB and hosted by and starring brothers Michael Hui and Samuel Hui that ran for 54 episodes from 1971 to 1973. The first episode of ''Hui Brothers Show'' was aired on 12 April 1971 as a special program to celebrate Easter and was very well received. As a result, TVB decided to turn it into a regular program which began airing its first season 11 days later on 23 April on Friday nights. The first season ended on 15 October 1971 with a total of 27 episodes including its first episode aired on Easter. The show featured a fresh style and exquisite content including machines gun delivery of jokes. After the end of the first season, audiences wrote letters to TVB requesting the extension of the show. As a result, the show was re-aired on Sunday mornings at the end of 1971. The second season premiered on 14 April 1972. Sai Gwa-Pau
Lim Gan (林根), better known in Hong Kong by his stagename Sai Gwa-Pau (西瓜刨) (7 October 1918 – 12 March 2001) was a Hong Kong film actor who played roles in over 600 movies from the 1950s onwards. Rebecca Pan Di-hua (; also Poon Tik-wah, Pan Wan Ching) is a Hong Kong actress and singer. Early life She was born in Shanghai on 29 December 1931 and moved to Hong Kong in 1949. Leung Sing-Bor
Leung Sing Poh MBE (1908 – 12 February 1981) was an actor, host and former Cantonese opera performer from Hong Kong. Leung was a pioneer actor of TVB, and was also the former chairman of Chinese Artist Association of Hong Kong from 1965 to 1970. He was nicknamed "Por Suk" or "Uncle Por", and was credited with over 440 films. He had a star at Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong. Early life Leung was born as Leung Guang Choy in Singapore in 1908. Leung was devoted to Cantonese Opera ever since he was young. Leung loved the legendary Ma Sze Tsang and learnt the Ma style of singing Cantonese opera. Cheung Ying () (January 25, 1919 – December 14, 1984) was a Cantonese actor, writer and director from Hong Kong. He was born to a Fujian family. His father brought him to Hong Kong when he was young. His father was a founder of Fok Hing Chu Choi Hang (福興築材行) in Nam Pak Hong. Some of his siblings studied abroad in Italy and Japan.
