Hugh Renton
Hugh Renton (born 12 May 1996) is a New Zealand rugby union player, who currently plays as a Flanker (rugby union), loose forward for the in Super Rugby and in New Zealand's domestic National Provincial Championship (2006–present), National Provincial Championship competition. Early career Born and raised in Hastings, New Zealand, Hastings, Renton attended Lindisfarne College, New Zealand, Lindisfarne College, close to his hometown, where he was head boy in 2014. Renton played for the school's top side in 2012 and 2013, but was unable to play his senior year because of a nerve injury. Super Rugby Renton played under-18 rugby for the Hurricanes in 2013 as a year-12 student and captained them against the Chiefs under-18, winning 40–10. 2021 Super Rugby Season
The 2021 Super Rugby season was the 26th season of Super Rugby, an annual men's international rugby union tournament organised by SANZAAR, involving teams from Australia and New Zealand. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the tournament was wholly regionalised, with the 2021 Super Rugby Aotearoa season and the 2021 Super Rugby AU season replacing the previous 15 side format used from 2018 till 2020. The 2021 Bunnings NPC season was the sixteenth season of New Zealand's provincial rugby union competition since it turned professional in 2006. The regular season began on August 6, when Manawatu hosted Counties Manukau. It involved the top fourteen rugby unions of New Zealand. For sponsorship reasons, the competition was known as the Bunnings NPC and it was the first season under the lead sponsor and to carry the NPC moniker since 2005. Tasman (often known as the Tasman Mako and formerly Tasman Makos) are a New Zealand professional rugby union team based in Tasman Bay / Te Tai-o-Aorere, New Zealand.
