Huey Avenue Station
Huey Avenue station is a stop on the Media–Sharon Hill Line, D in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. It is officially located near Huey and Edmonds Avenues in Drexel Hill, but in reality is closer to the intersection of Huey Avenue and Mason Avenue. Trolleys arriving at this station travel between 69th Street Transit Center in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania, and Orange Street in Media, Pennsylvania. The station has a P&W-era stone shed with a roof where people can go inside when it is raining on the northwest corner of the grade crossing. On the opposite side of this shelter is an ordinary bench. Huey Avenue is the first/last stop along the D1 that doesn't share a right-of-way with the D2 to Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. Drexel Hill is a neighborhood and census-designated place (CDP) located in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 29,181 at the 2020 census, an increase over 28,043 in 2010, and accounting for over one-third of Upper Darby Township's population. Media–Sharon Hill Line
The D, formerly known as the Media–Sharon Hill Line (MSHL), is a light rail line in the SEPTA Metro network serving portions of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The line comprises two services which terminate at 69th Street Transit Center in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania: D1 to Media and D2 to Sharon Hill. 69th Street Transit Center is a SEPTA terminal in the Terminal Square area of Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania. It serves the SEPTA Metro L, M, D, and multiple SEPTA bus routes.
