Hudson Clark
Hudson Clark (born February 17, 2001) is an American professional football safety for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Early life and high school Clark attended Highland Park High School in University Park, Texas. As a senior, he tallied 40 tackles with three being for a loss, and nine interceptions. Coming out of high school, Clark decided to walk-on to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks. College career In week 8 of the 2020 season, Clark had five tackles and three interceptions in a win over Ole Miss, earning Southeastern Conference (SEC) freshman of the week honors. For his performance, he was put on scholarship by the Razorbacks. Clark finished his freshman season with 47 tackles with one going for a loss, three pass deflections, and three interceptions. Safety (S), historically known as a safetyman, is a position in gridiron football on the American football positions#Defense, defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety (FS) and the strong safety (SS). Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. The 2025 NFL draft was the 90th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players.
