Hsieh Yue-hsia
Hsieh Yue-hsia (; 1944–2009) was a Taiwanese actress. She was born Lin San-chiao () is what became Taiping District, Taichung. Lin began training in dance at the age of four, with Hsieh Lien-zhi (), and later took her mentor's surname. Hsieh Yue-hsia became known for her Taiwanese opera performances. In 2002, she received the Golden Bell Award for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film. Hsieh, Li Ang, and were featured in Monika Treut Monika Treut (born April 6, 1954, in Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) is a German filmmaker. Shih Shu-tuan (; born 5 April 1952), pen name Li Ang (), is a Taiwanese feminist writer. After graduating from Chinese Culture University with a degree in philosophy, she studied drama at the University of Oregon, after which she returned to teach at her ''alma mater''. Her major work is ''The Butcher's Wife'' (殺夫: 1983, tr. 1986), though she has written many other novels. Feminist themes and sexuality are present in much of her work. Monika Treut (born April 6, 1954, in Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) is a German filmmaker. She made her feature film debut with '' Seduction: The Cruel Woman'' (co-directed by Elfi Mikesch), a film that explores sadomasochistic sex practices. She has made over 20 films, including the short documentaries ''Annie'' and ''My Father is Coming''. Treut’s involvement extends across writing, directing, editing and acting. Taiwanese opera ( zh, t=, p=gēzǎixì, poj=koa-á-hì, l=Song Drama, c=, s=) commonly known as Ke-Tse opera or Hokkien opera, is a form of traditional drama originating in Taiwan. Taiwanese opera uses a stylised combination of both the literary and colloquial registers of Taiwanese Hokkien. Its earliest form adopted elements of folk songs from Zhangzhou, Fujian, China.
