Howie Payne
Howard Elliot Payne (born 5 November 1970) is an English musician, singer-songwriter and record producer, formerly of the Stands. Following the Stands' split, Payne embarked on a solo career under the name Howard Eliott Payne and released his debut album '' Bright Light Ballads'' in 2009. Early career Payne was born in Liverpool and spent some of his teenage years in New York City before returning home with his family and forming The Magic Clock in 1992 before fronting later bands the Windmills (with future Cast drummer Keith O'Neill), Telefone and Blueseed. Blueseed released their debut single "The Only Ones" in 1997 and an EP ''Special Care and Spare Change'' in 1998 on Ultimate Records (an extended version of the EP with the debut single material as bonus tracks was released in Europe as a mini album). Benjamin Francis Leftwich (born 4 September 1989) is an English singer-songwriter from Heworth, York, Heworth, York. His father was Adrian Leftwich. He attended Hempland Primary School and Bootham School in York. Leftwich released his first album ''Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm'' in 2011 which peaked at #35 on the UK charts. Background The release of the album was postponed after the accident which happened on May 31, 2011. Ren Harvieu was with friends in an East London field, watching them performing acrobatic leaps over a hedge when she was knocked to the ground and broke her back. "I heard it snap. Lauren Maria "Ren" Harvieu (born 3 September 1990) is an English singer and songwriter from Broughton, Salford, Greater Manchester. Early life and education Harvieu was introduced to music by her mother. While in sixth form college, she performed in musical theatre and entered several talent competitions before uploading some of her own recordings to MySpace. Career Harvieu was discovered on MySpace by a local music manager after uploading demo tracks. Dean Ravera
The Stands were an English alternative rock band, formed in 2002 in Liverpool. The band was composed of singer-songwriter Howie Payne, guitarist Luke Thomson, bassist Dean Ravera and drummer Steve Pilgrim. They released two albums, before Pilgrim and Thomson left the band following the release of their second album. The band toured the album with drummer Graeme Robinson and guitarist Paul Molloy. They split up in November 2005, shortly after parting ways with their label Echo Records. History The Stands were formed by Howie Payne in 2002 following the split of the Edgar Jones fronted The Big Kids, for whom Payne had played lead guitar.
