Howard R. Cohen (1942–3 April 1999) was an American writer and director who worked several times for Roger Corman and Julie Corman.Christopher T Koetting, ''Mind Warp! Biography Cohen was born in Chicago and attended the University of Illinois, the University of Chicago, the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology, and Roosevelt University. He wrote and illustrated “Aardvark,” an alternative magazine created and edited by Jeff Begun, and worked as an associate editor at “Playboy” magazine, and for advertising agencies. Cohen worked as a graphic designer. He moved to Los Angeles in 1970 and began working in movies. Roger William Corman (April 5, 1926 – May 9, 2024) was an American film director, producer, and actor. Known under various monikers such as "The Pope of Pop Cinema", "The Spiritual Godfather of the New Hollywood", and "The King of Cult", he was known as a trailblazer in the world of independent film.
