Howard Kirshbaum
Howard M. Kirshbaum (born September 19, 1938) was an associate justice of the Colorado Supreme Court from 1983 to 1997. He received an undergraduate degree from Yale College, and law degree from Harvard Law School in 1965. While at Harvard Law School, he clerked for William Edward Doyle, who was then a judge of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Colorado Supreme Court
The Colorado Supreme Court is the highest court in the U.S. state of Colorado. Located in Denver, the court was established in 1876. It consists of a Chief Justice and six Associate Justices who are appointed by the Governor of Colorado from a list of candidates approved by a state judicial commission. William Edward Doyle
William Edward Doyle (February 5, 1911 – May 2, 1986) was a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and previously was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and a justice of the Colorado Supreme Court. Education and career He was born in Denver, Colorado and attended West High School, where he was an All City football player. He received a Bachelor of Laws from George Washington University Law School in 1937 and an Artium Baccalaureus degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1940. He served as deputy district attorney of Denver from 1938 to 1941, before entering private practice in Denver from 1941 to 1943. He was in the United States Army from 1943 to 1945. Richard Lamm
Richard Douglas Lamm (August 3, 1935 – July 29, 2021) was an American politician, writer, and attorney. He served three terms as the 38th Governor of Colorado as a Democrat (1975–1987) and ran for the Reform Party's nomination for President of the United States in 1996. Lamm was a Certified Public Accountant and was the co-director of the Institute for Public Policy Studies at the University of Denver.
