Hove Rugby Football Club
Hove Rugby Club is an English community rugby union club, who play at Hove Recreation Ground in Shirley Drive Hove, and are affiliated to the English RFU via the Sussex RFU. They currently play in London 2 South East - a level 7 league of the English rugby union system - following their relegation from London 1 South at the end of the 2018–19 season. History Beginnings Territorial Army officers and men of the Sussex Yeomanry formed a rugby club, which was affiliated to the Rugby Football Union in 1933. Records of their results have been lost in the mist of time but, post war in 1945 the players reformed and continued to turn out on Saturdays, the home matches being played at East Brighton Park. In 1952 the Yeomanry could no longer continue without an influx of new players. The members approached Alderman Arthur Brocke who was then Mayor of Hove and Councillor Jack Woolley. The Sussex Rugby Football Union is the society responsible for rugby union in the county of Sussex, England and is one of the constituent bodies of the national Rugby Football Union. Wasps RFC
Wasps Rugby Football Club was a professional rugby union team. They last played in Premiership Rugby, the top division of English rugby, until being suspended on 12 October 2022. On 17 October 2022, the club entered administration, resulting in relegation from the league and all staff being made redundant. They exited administration on 16 December 2022. Founded in 1867 as Wasps FC, Wasps Football Club, from 1923 to 1996 they were based at Repton Avenue in Sudbury, London. From 1996 to 2002 the team played at Loftus Road in Shepherd's Bush, London and from 2002 to 2014 they played at Adams Park in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Noah Cato
Noah Cato (born 31 March 1988) is an English rugby union player who plays as a wing and fullback for Wimbledon RFC in the National League 2 South. He was educated at St. Aubyns School, Rottingdean, Hurstpierpoint College and at the University of Hertfordshire. Club career Cato made his full debut for Saracens against Leeds Carnegie during the 2007–08 season. He signed a new contract in January 2010. On 5 April 2011 it was announced that Cato would be joining Northampton Saints for the 2011–12 season. Before he departed he was a replacement as Saracens won their first Premiership title. Harlequins (officially Harlequin Football Club) is a professional rugby union club that plays in Premiership Rugby, the top level of English rugby union. Their home ground is the Twickenham Stoop, located in Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The club, which was founded in 1866 as "Hampstead Football Club", split the following year with some of the membership forming Wasps RFC. Three years later Hampstead renamed itself Harlequins and became one of the founding members of the Rugby Football Union in 1871. Jordan Turner-Hall
Jordan Turner-Hall (born 5 January 1988 in London, England) is a former rugby union player for Harlequins in the Aviva Premiership, playing primarily as a centre but he could also play on the wing. His first start for England came on 30 May 2009 against the Barbarians. He spent his younger days playing American football with the likes of Nick Ashburn and Charlie Canrac, who both went on to play professionally for the Miami Dolphins. Turner-Hall was known as 'The Bull' in his football playing days, and it is his hefty frame that can at times make him one of the most brutal attacking forces in the Premiership today. Caerphilly Rugby Football Club is a Welsh rugby union team founded in 1887. Their home ground is The Mollex stadium in Caerphilly and their nickname is ''The Cheesemen''. Joe El-Abd
Joe El-Abd (born 23 February 1980) is a retired rugby union player. He is currently the defence coach for the England men's international rugby team. El-Abd began playing rugby at Hove RFC and at the University of Bath, and after an unsuccessful spell with Bath Rugby, he joined Caerphilly RFC and later Bristol Rugby in 2003, where he has spent the best part of his career and become a regular fixture at open-side flanker. Newcastle Falcons is a rugby union team that play in Premiership Rugby, England's highest division of rugby union. The club was established in 1877 as the Gosforth Football Club. Around 1882 the club merged with the Northumberland Football Club and briefly assumed their name until 1887. In 1990, the name was changed to Newcastle Gosforth and the club began to play at Kingston Park stadium in Kingston Park, Newcastle upon Tyne.
