Houston Rodeo Live is a live album released by Jennifer Peña on November 2, 2004 it was recorded on March 14, 2004, at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo in Houston, Texas in front of a crowd of over 61,000 spectators on Go Tejano Day alongside Mexican Grupera band El Gigante de America. The album was made available digitally, by CD and CD/DVD combo. Jennifer Marcella Peña (born September 17, 1983) is a Grammy Awards and Latin Grammy Awards nominated Mexican American Tejano/Latin pop singer known as "The Princess of Tejano". Peña reached a milestone in her career of over 10 million records sold internationally. Peña was born in San Antonio, Texas, and is the third and youngest daughter of Jaime and Mary Peña. Her sisters' names are Janet and Jackie. Peña is of Mexican descent native to the state of Texas. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Bronco is a Mexican grupero band originating from Apodaca, Nuevo León originally composed of band members José Guadalupe "Lupe" Esparza, Ramiro Delgado, Javier Villareal, and José Luis "Choche" Villareal. Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the largest livestock exhibition and rodeo in the world. It includes one of the richest regular-season professional rodeo events. It has been held at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, since 2003, with the exception of 2021 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was previously held at the Astrodome. In 2007, the rodeo was deemed "the year of the volunteer." In 2017, attendance reached a record high of 2,611,176 people and 33,000 volunteers.
