House Rules (mixtape)
''House Rules'' is the second and final mixtape by Slaughterhouse, a hip hop supergroup consisting of rappers Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, KXNG CROOKED and Royce da 5'9". It was released on May 21, 2014, exclusively on DatPiff. It served as a warm up for their 3rd studio album ''Glass House'', which would eventually never see the light of day. The mixtape followed on from the groups' last successful mixtape, having been downloaded over 100,000 times in the first week. Slaughterhouse was an American hip hop supergroup consisting of rappers Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Royce da 5'9". They released two studio albums as a group: ''Slaughterhouse'' (2009) independently and '' Welcome to: Our House'' (2012) under Shady and Interscope Records. History 2008: Formation The group formed in late 2008 after Crooked I, Joell Ortiz, Royce da 5'9", and Joe Budden appeared on the song "Slaughterhouse" from Joe Budden's album ''Halfway House''. They decided to form a group and named the group after the song. The members of Slaughterhouse all share some degree of controversy from their past in the music industry. Dominick Antron Wickliffe (born September 23, 1976), better known by his stage names Crooked I and Kxng Crooked, (stylised as KXNG Crooked and pronounced "King Crooked") is an American rapper from Long Beach, California. He is best known as a former member of the hip hop supergroup Slaughterhouse with other members Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5'9". He is CEO of his own record labels, Dynasty Entertainment and C.O.B. Digital as well as Senior Vice President of Treacherous Records. Before starting his own label, he was also signed to Virgin Records and Death Row Records. Royce Da 5'9"
Ryan Daniel Montgomery, known professionally as Royce da 5'9" (or simply Royce 5'9"), is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Montgomery is currently one half of the rap duo Bad Meets Evil with fellow Detroit rapper Eminem, and is one half of the hip hop duo PRhyme with producer DJ Premier. He was also one quarter of the Shady Records hip hop group Slaughterhouse with Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Kxng Crooked.
