''Hotel VIP'' is a Mexican reality competition television series that premiered on Canal 5 on 16 August 2023. It is an adaptation of the Argentine series ''El hotel de los famosos''. The series follows a group of celebrities living together in a hotel competing for the cash grand prize. Mariana Ávila (born Mariana Ávila de la Torre on April 15, 1979) is a Mexican actress and singer. Early life Ávila was born in Mexico City, D.F., Mexico. She started her acting career when she was six years old in a stage play called ''El pájaro azul''. At 12, she got the starring role in ''Little Orphan Annie'' in which she had to sing and dance. Roberto Tello (born 27 January 1969 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican actor, comedian and director. He is best known for his characterization of "El Coreano" ("The Korean one"), a character that he usually plays alongside Carlos Miguel Suarez, who plays "El Coreano"'s best friend, "Poncho".
