''Hostage'' is an upcoming Netflix political thriller television miniseries starring Julie Delpy as a fictional French president and Suranne Jones as a fictional British prime minister. The series is set to premiere on August 21, 2025. Premise An international summit between the French and British leaders goes awry when the husband of the British Prime Minister is kidnapped and the French president is blackmailed.
