Hossein Amanat
Hossein Amanat (, b. 1942) is an Iranian-Canadian architect. He is best known as the architect of the Shahyad Tower (renamed as Azadi Tower after the 1979 revolution) in Tehran, Iran, the Baháʼí Arc buildings in Haifa, Israel and the House of Worship in Samoa. He has also been designated as the architect of the Shrine of ʻAbdu'l-Bahá currently under construction. Practice As a young graduate from the University of Tehran. He is one of the students of Hooshang seyhoon. He won a nationwide competition in 1966 to design the Shahyad Tower, renamed the Azadi Tower in 1979. This first architectural project led to the opportunity to create some of Iran's most distinctive projects with reference to traditional Persian architecture. The Communication University of China (CUC) is a public university in Chaoyang, Beijing, China. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education. Baháʼí House Of Worship
A Baháʼí House of Worship or Baháʼí temple is a place of worship of the Baháʼí Faith. It is also referred to by the name ''Mashriqu'l-Adhkár'', which is Arabic for "Dawning-place of the remembrance of God". All Baháʼí Houses of Worship have a round, nine-sided shape and are surrounded by nine pathways leading outwards and nine gardens, reflecting the number nine's Baháʼí symbols, symbolic significance for Baháʼís. Inside, there is a prayer hall with seats facing in the direction of the Shrine of Baháʼu'lláh. The Houses of Worship are open throughout the week to both Baháʼís and non-Baháʼís for prayer and reflection, and some also have scheduled weekly devotional services.
