Horslunde is a village on the island of Lolland in south-eastern Denmark. In January 2024 its population was 598. Horslunde is now part of Lolland Municipality and belongs to Region Zealand. Horslunde Church
Horslunde Church () is a Church of Denmark parish church located in the village of Horslunde, on the island of Lolland, in southeastern Denmark. The altarpiece and the pulpit date from 1594. Former Danish prime minister, Christian Ditlev Frederik Reventlow is buried in the churchyard. History The church was in Catholic times dedicated to Saint lians. In 1379, ''Guds Legems Tjeneste'' in Horslunde Church is mentioned. Nothing is known about its ownership in the Middle Ages apart from the fact that the Crown had appointment rights to already prior to the Reformation. In 1686, it was presented to Peder Brandt of Pederstrup Manor. In 1725, it came under the authority of the county of Christianssæde when it together with Pederstrup transferred to Christian Ditlev Reventlow. Lolland

Christian Ditlev Frederik Reventlow
Christian Ditlev Frederik, Count of Reventlow (11 March 1748 – 11 October 1827) was a Danish statesman and reformer, the son of Privy Councillor Christian Ditlev Reventlow (1710–1775) by his first wife, baroness Johanne Sophie Frederikke von Bothmer. His influence on the life of the Danish people and, particularly, the conditions of the peasantry, made him very popular. Christian Ditlev Reventlow (1710–1775)
Christian Ditlev, Count of Reventlow (10 March 1710 – 30 March 1775) was a Danish Privy Councillor, nobleman and a landowner. Early life and ancestry Being a member of an old House of Reventlow, he was born into the family of significant influence and wealth. He was the third son of Count Christian Ditlev Reventlow and his wife, Benedicte Margrethe von Brockdorff (1673–1739). His father, an officer and diplomat, had close familial ties to the Danish royal family and had been betrothed to Anna Christiane Gyldenløve (1676–1689), illegitimate daughter of King Christian V of Denmark, who died young. Furthermore, his paternal aunt was Anne Sophie Reventlow, morganatic wife of King Frederik IV of Denmark, and later Queen of Denmark. Tandil is the main city of the homonymous partido (department), located in Argentina, in the southeast of Buenos Aires Province, just north-northwest of Tandilia hills. Reventlow-Museet Pederstrup
Pederstrup is a historic manor house located north of Nakskov on the Danish island of Lolland. The half-timbered building from 1686 was rebuilt from 1813 to 1822 in the Neoclassical style by the statesman Christian Ditlev Frederik Reventlow. Since 1940, it has housed the Reventlow Museum. History Pederstrup was first mentioned in the 1340s when the estate belonged to Rigsdrost Laurits Jonsen. A vaulted cellar from the mid-16th century is the oldest remaining part of the building which then served as the residence of the king's vassal. In 1576, King Frederick II sold the property to the Venstermand family. In 1684, the half-timbered building was purchased by the statesman Peder von Brandt who added two symmetrical wings in the Baroque style.
