Horrorshow (band)
Horrorshow is an Australian hip-hop music duo from the Inner West region of Sydney that consists of producer Adit and rapper MC Solo. Horrorshow, together with Spit Syndicate, Jackie Onassis and Joyride, are members of One Day collective. Horrorshow are recognised as pioneers of the sub genre known as " Aussie hip-hop," alongside Illy, Drapht, the Herd, Bliss n Eso, and Hilltop Hoods. Horrorshow has appeared at major Australian music festivals, including the Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass and Groovin' the Moo. Hermitude
Hermitude are an Australian electronic music, electronic-Australian hip hop, hip hop duo, originating from the Blue Mountains (Australia), Blue Mountains, New South Wales. Like A Version
''Like a Version'' is a long-running weekly segment on Australian youth radio station Triple J. It involves musicians playing two songs live in the Triple J studio, one of their own songs and then a cover version. The series was created by presenter Mel Bampton in 2004 as part of the ''Mel in the Morning'' program. The title is wordplay on the song " Like a Virgin" by Madonna. Early performances were more intimate, with most covers in the first years featuring only acoustic instruments, but as the segment has evolved, recordings have moved into larger studios to accommodate full bands. The segment has grown in popularity over the years, leading to the release of compilation CDs featuring the covers. No Aphrodisiac
"No Aphrodisiac" is a song by Australian band the Whitlams, released in December 1997 as the second single from their third album, '' Eternal Nightcap''. The song peaked at 59 on the Australian Singles Chart. The lead track was written by the band's founding mainstay, Tim Freedman, together with Pinky Beecroft (Matt Ford) and Chit Chat Von Loopin Stab (Glen Dormand): both from the band, Machine Gun Fellatio. It was produced by Freedman with Rob Taylor. "No Aphrodisiac" won Song of the Year at the ARIA Music Awards of 1998. It was listed at No. 1 on the Triple J Hottest 100 for 1997. Tim Levinson, better known by the stage name Urthboy, is an Australian hip hop MC and producer from New South Wales. Ziggy Alberts (born July 1994) is an Australian singer-songwriter. He is best known for his studio album '' Laps Around the Sun'', which peaked at number 2 on the ARIA Charts for Australian Artist Albums in November 2018.
