Taake () is a Norwegian black metal band from Bergen, formed in 1993 and originally named Thule. The band's one continuous member is Hoest, who writes all and records most of the music. Taake has released eight full-length albums and several EPs. Grieg Hall
Grieg Hall () is a 1,500 seat concert hall located on Edvard Griegs' square in Bergen, Norway. Grieghallen was named in honor of Bergen-born composer Edvard Grieg, who served as music director of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra from 1880 until 1882. It serves as the home of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. The building was designed in modernist architecture style by the Danish architect Knud Munk. Construction began in 1967 and was finished by May 1978. Events Grieghallen is used each year for a series of concerts, ballet and opera performances. The facility has featured symphonic, choir, jazz and pop music. Grieghallen is also a conference and exhibition center. Eirik Hundvin (born 8 February 1950), also known as Pytten, is a Norwegian producer, musician and recording engineer. He is widely known for producing and collaborating with influential acts in the Norwegian black metal scene, including Mayhem (band), Mayhem, Burzum, Immortal (band), Immortal, Emperor (Norwegian band), Emperor, Satyricon (band), Satyricon, Enslaved (band), Enslaved, Gorgoroth, Borknagar and Taake. Hundvin worked out of Grieghallen Lydstudio at the Grieg Hall in Bergen from 1989 to 2013, when it was closed. He has been a member of Tornerose and Blind Date as a bassist. Hordaland () was a county in Norway, bordering Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Telemark, and Rogaland counties. Hordaland was the third largest county, after Akershus and Oslo, by population. Ørjan Stedjeberg (born 24 September 1977), better known by his stage name Hoest, is a Norwegian musician who is the founder and songwriter of black metal band Taake. Since the '90s, he has been the band's sole member, recording most instruments for the studio releases – counting eight studio albums and several EPs. As a frontman, Hoest is known for his energetic live performances. He is also a member of the band Deathcult, the current live vocalist for Gorgoroth, and has previously been a member of Ragnarok (Norwegian band), Ragnarok and Ravengod. Career In 1993, Hoest—then known as ''Ulvhedin''—formed the band ''Thule'' together with drummer ''Svartulv''. Roger Rasmussen (born 12 October 1974), better known by the stage name Nattefrost, is a Norwegian musician, best known for being the vocalist and a founding member of black metal band Carpathian Forest. He also fronts the side projects World Destroyer and Kreft, and since 2003, his own solo project. Biography Rasmussen was born in Sandnes, Rogaland County, Norway. His first musical ventures were with the black metal band The Childmolesters, which he founded in 1990 alongside his future Carpathian Forest bandmate Johnny "Nordavind" Krøvel.
