Horaiclavidae
Horaiclavidae is a family of predatory sea snail Sea snails are slow-moving marine (ocean), marine gastropod Mollusca, molluscs, usually with visible external shells, such as whelk or abalone. They share the Taxonomic classification, taxonomic class Gastropoda with slugs, which are distinguishe ...s, marine gastropod mollusks in the superfamily Conoidea. In 2011 this family was split off from the family Pseudomelatomidae (formerly the subfamily Crassispirinae McLean, 1971) by Bouchet P., Kantor Yu.I., Sysoev A. & Puillandre N. in their publication "A new operational classification of the Conoidea". It forms a clade together with the family Clavatulidae. It has many characters in common with the family Pseudomelatomidae, except the smaller shell with a low Spire (mollusc), spire, the short siphonal canal and a weak or absent spiral Sculpture (mollusc), sculpture. The radular formula is 1-0-0-0-1, but some species in this family lack a radula. Genera Genera within the famil ...

Coronacomitas
''Paradrillia'' is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Horaiclavidae. ''Coronacomitas'' was originally proposed by T. Shuto in 1983 as a subgenus of ''Paradrillia'' for ''Paradrillia gemmata''. It showed some resemblance to ''Pleurotoma multiseriata'' Smith, 1877, synonym of '' Epidirona multiseriata'' (E. A. Smith, 1877). It differs however by the position of the anal sinus which is situated on the shoulder slope and not on the shoulder itself. Haedropleura
''Haedropleura'' is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Horaiclavidae. It was formerly included within the subfamily Crassispirinae, family Turridae. According to Nordsieck (1968, 1977) and Van Aartsen et al. (1984) ''Haedropleura'' Bucquoy, Dautzenberg & Dollfus, 1883 is a junior synonym of '' Bellaspira'' Conrad, 1868. The latter gets priority. However, this not backed by distinctions at the genus level, which puts ''Bellaspira'' in the family Drilliidae. Their characters have been poorly defined until the study by Scarponi, Daniele, Giano Della Bella, and Alessandro Ceregato. "The genus Haedropleura (Neogastropoda, Toxoglossa-Conoidea) in the Plio-Quaternary of the Mediterranean basin." Zootaxa 2796.1 (2011): 37-55.
