S.C. Hora S.A. (trade name: Hora Instruments) is a Romanian manufacturer of string instruments. The company, based in Reghin, was founded in 1951 around the workshop of master luthier Roman Boianciuc as a state-owned enterprise. Over 80% of its products are exported to North America, Western and Northern Europe, Russia and Japan. HORA uses as raw materials spruce and maple wood from the Romanian Carpathians seasoned naturally for 5–10 years, as well as imported exotic wood like mahogany, Indian rosewood and ebony. The company employs about 300 people (2017) and is the largest stringed instrument manufacturer in Europe. Dipterocarpus Zeylanicus
''Dipterocarpus zeylanicus'', commonly known as හොර - Hora in Sinhalese and සරල - Sarala or කිරිපලු - Kiripalu, is a species of ''Dipterocarpus'' that is endemic to Sri Lanka. A closely related Indian species is '' Dipterocarpus turbinatus''. The Sri Lankan tree is a large tree that grows up to tall and in circumference. The bark is light pinkish brown or light yellowish brown. Leaves are big and oval, long. The sharp-edged leaves are covered with silver hairs. Flowers bloom in April and seeds have two wings to spread from wind. The bark contains considerable amounts of gray colour oleoresin. ''D. zeylanicus'' can be found in moist low country like Ratnapura, Kaluthara, Galle and Matara Districts and also in the Sinharaja rain forest. ''The Whore'' () is a Norwegian comedy-horror film directed by Reinert Kiil and starring Jørgen Langhelle. Plot Rikke is an author and is writing on a new novel. To find inspiration she decides to get out to the countryside town where her mother is buried. This local community called Dokka is full of goons who make it difficult for Rikkie to write her book. Cast Production Kiil shot the project with a budget of 240,000 Kroner in just 10 days with a shooting schedule of 16 hours per day at a cabin in Oslo. It is Norway's first exploitation film. Kiil cast Scandinavian porn star Isabel Vibe for the lead character Rikke. Release The film premiered on September 9, 2009, in Oslo and was on February 5, 2010, released on DVD in Norway.
