Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre
The Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre (KITEC, formerly known as the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre or HITEC), is an exhibition centre, shopping mall and performance venue situated at 1 Trademart Drive, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was developed by Hopewell Holdings Ltd. In 2021, a consortium led by Billion Development bought the venue for $1.4 billion US dollars to redevelop it into three grade-A office buildings. As a result, the KITEC ended its operations at 17:00 on 30 June 2024. Scott MacKenzie (darts Player)
Scott MacKenzie (born 21 February 1972) is a former professional darts player based in Hong Kong. He has represented Hong Kong on numerous occasions (in both steel tip and soft tip darts), including captaining the Hong Kong team at the 2008 Asia Pacific Cup in New Zealand and 2012 team to Australia. He was also a member of the 2010 and 2016 Asia Pacific Cup teams. He has played in a total of 3 PDC World Championships and 3 PDC World Cups currently more than any other Hong Kong darts player. Career MacKenzie won the PDC Greater China Qualifier, defeating Alex Hon in the final, to qualify for the 2011 PDC World Darts Championship. Royden Lam
Royden Lam (; born 8 September 1975) is a darts player from Hong Kong. Career Royden Lam is best known as a soft tip darts player but also plays steel tip darts. In 2009 he won the Hong Kong Open by beating Liu Cheng from China in the final. In 2010, he lost in the final of the Japan Open to Kyle Anderson and in the quarter-finals of the Asia Pacific Cup to Morihiro Hashimoto. In 2011, he almost managed to qualify for the PDC World Championship, but was defeated by Scott MacKenzie 4–3 in the final of the Chinese qualifier. In 2013, Lam registered for PDC Qualifying School and earned a Tour Card on the final day. However, he only played in three events during the year which included a 5–3 first round loss against Wayne Jones in the UK Open. Shi Yongsheng (born 2 September 1970) is a Chinese former professional darts player who competed in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. Career In 2004, he lost to Phil Taylor of England 0–3 whitewashed on the 2004 PDC China Telcom Cup. He played in the 2007 PDC World Darts Championship, losing in the first round to Andy Smith. In November 2007, Shi won the Chinese qualifiers to return to the World Championship for 2008, thus becoming the first Chinese player to play in two World Championships. He defeated India's Ashfaque Sayed in the preliminary round, but lost in the first round to Alan Warriner-Little.
