Hong Jin-Ki Creator Award
The Hong Jin-Ki Creator Award (), sometimes referred to as the Yumin Award (), is given every May to individuals or groups who have achieved creative achievements in the fields of science and technology, social sciences, and culture and arts. The award was made in honor of Hong Jin-ki and is funded and given by the Joongang Hwadong Foundation. Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) is a private research university in Pohang, South Korea. History POSTECH was established in 1986 in Pohang, Korea by POSCO, a steel company. Hanmi Pharm Co., Ltd. () is a South Korean pharmaceutical company that is headquartered in Seoul. History 1973 to 2009 Hanmi was founded in 1973 by Lim Sung-ki, who was a pharmacist. It was originally named Lim, Sung-ki Pharmaceutical Co., but it was quickly changed to Hanmi Pharmaceutical. The company originally started selling Trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole powder, and would expand to produce Cephalosporin antibiotics in 1985 and injectable Ceftriaxone antibiotics in 1987. Ryu Seong-hie
Ryu Seong-hie (; Born November 13, 1968) is a South Korean film art director or production designer. She is best known for her collaborations with renowned directors. She has worked with Bong Joon-ho on ''Memories of Murder'', ''The Host'', ''Mother'', with Kim Jee-woon on '' A Bittersweet Life'', and Ryoo Seung-wan's ''No Blood No Tears'', and with Park Chan-wook on ''Oldboy'', ''I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK'', ''Thirst'', '' The Handmaiden'', and '' Decision to Leave''. Ryu has also worked on several films that achieved record-breaking box office success in South Korea. Anton Hur
Anton Hur () (born 7 April 1981) is a Korean writer and translator of Korean literature into English. He has translated the works of Kyung-Sook Shin, Hwang Sok-yong, and Sang Young Park, whose ''Love in the Big City'' was longlisted for the 2022 International Booker Prize, and Bora Chung, whose collection of short stories ''Cursed Bunny'' was shortlisted for the same prize. The Institute for Basic Science (IBS; ) is a Korean government-funded research institute that conducts basic science research and relevant pure basic research.
