The Homestead Young Americans were an American basketball team based in Homestead, Pennsylvania that was a member of the Central Basketball League The Central Basketball League was an early regional professional or semi-pro basketball league based in Ohio and Pennsylvania. The team was replaced by Canton during the 1906/07 Postseason Series, but returned to the league the following season. For their final season, the team was known as the Homestead Steeltowners. Basketball

Homestead, Pennsylvania
Homestead is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA, in the Monongahela River valley southeast of downtown Pittsburgh and directly across the river from the city limit line. The borough is known for the Homestead Strike of 1892, an important event in the history of labor relations in the United States. The population of Homestead was 2,884 at the 2020 census.
