Home Brew also known as Home Brew Crew is a New Zealand hip hop New Zealand hip hop derives from the wider hip hop cultural movement originating amongst African Americans in the United States. They released their self-titled debut full-length album in May 2012 to some critical acclaim. In 2010 Home Brew were shortlisted for the New Zealand Music Awards Critics Choice Prize. In 2012 they won Best Urban / Hip Hop Album at the New Zealand Music Awards and were nominated for four others, including Best Group and Album of the Year. West Auckland, New Zealand
West Auckland ( mi, Te Uru o Tāmaki Makaurau) is one of the major geographical areas of Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. Much of the area is dominated by the Waitākere Ranges, the eastern slopes of the Miocene era Waitākere volcano which was upraised from the ocean floor, and one of the largest regional parks in New Zealand. The metropolitan area of West Auckland developed on the lands between the Waitākere Ranges to the west and the upper reaches of the Waitematā Harbour to the east, in areas such as Massey, Henderson, New Lynn and Glen Eden. The area is within the rohe of Te Kawerau ā Maki, whose traditional names for the area were Hikurangi, Waitākere, and Te Wao Nui a Tiriwa, the latter of which refers to the forest of the greater Waitākere Ranges area. At Peace (stylised as @peace) was a New Zealand hip hop group. The group comprised lyricist and vocalist Tom Scott, also of the hip-hop group Home Brew; lyricist and vocalist Lui Tuiasau, formerly of hip-hop duo Nothing To Nobody; and producers Christoph El Truento, Dandruff Dicky and B Haru. Team Dynamite
A team is a group of individuals (human or non-human) working together to achieve their goal. Tom Scott (rapper)
Tom Scott (born 1984) is a New Zealand rapper. He is known for his role in the groups Home Brew, At Peace, and Avantdale Bowling Club. His groups are generally characterized by jazz-influenced instrumentation and political lyrics. NPR has described Scott as "one of the biggest role players" in New Zealand hip hop; ''The Spinoff'' identifies him as "New Zealand hip-hop's finest storyteller ndmost brazen agitator".
