Homarefuji
is a retired professional sumo wrestler from the town of Ajigasawa in Aomori prefecture, Japan. A former amateur champion, he made his professional debut in January 2008 and wrestled for Isegahama stable, one of the more successful stables in sumo today. He reached the top ''makuuchi'' division for the first time in May 2013. His highest rank was ''maegashira'' 6. He retired in 2019 to become an elder of the Japan Sumo Association under the name Tateyama. Isegahama Stable (2007)
, formerly known as Ajigawa stable from 1979 to 2007, is a Heya (sumo), stable of sumo wrestlers, part of the Isegahama ''Glossary of sumo terms#ichimon, ichimon'' or group of stables. Its current head coach is former ''makuuchi#Yokozuna, yokozuna'' Asahifuji Seiya, Asahifuji. As of January 2023 it had 19 wrestlers. History The original Ajigawa stable was established in April 1979 by former ''sekiwake'' Mutsuarashi Yukio, Mutsuarashi. He had originally hoped to become head of Miyagino stable and had married the daughter of the incumbent stablemaster there, but the marriage ended in divorce. He moved to Tomozuna stable upon his retirement in 1977 before opening up his new stable two years later. Ajigawa stable absorbed Kasugayama stable in 1990 on the retirement of its head coach. Asahifuji
is a Japanese former professional sumo wrestler from Aomori. He joined professional sumo in 1981, reaching the top ''makuuchi'' division just two years later. He reached the second highest rank of '' ōzeki'' in 1987 and became the 63rd ''yokozuna'' in the history of the sport in 1990 at the age of 30. He won four tournaments and was a runner-up on nine other occasions. He retired in 1992 and is now the head coach of Isegahama stable. Akiseyama
is a Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Kasugai, Aichi. An amateur sumo competitor while studying at Nihon University, he made his professional debut in January 2008. He reached the top '' makuuchi'' division in March 2016. His highest rank to date has been '' maegashira'' 12. He has both a lower division '' jonokuchi'' and a '' makushita'' division championship. The giant panda (''Ailuropoda melanoleuca''), also known as the panda bear (or simply the panda), is a bear species endemic to China. Ueno Zoo
The is a zoo, managed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and located in Taitō, Tokyo, Japan. It is Japan's oldest zoo, opened on March 20, 1882.
