Holy Knights
Holy Knights is a symphonic power metal band from Palermo, Italy, formed in 1998. They recorded their first demo, ''Gate Through the Past'', in 1999. Shortly after releasing their début album, ''A Gate Through the Past'' through Underground Symphony, the band was put on hiatus, which lasted until 2010. In 2012, the second album, ''Between Daylight and Pain'', was released by Scarlet Records. Biography Holy Knights was formed in November 1998 by the vocalist Dario Di Matteo, and the drummer Claudio Florio. After several changes, the line-up was complete with Salvatore Graziano and Ezio Montalto on guitars and Nico Rose on bass. In December 1999, the band entered Studio Blu in Palermo to record their first demo, ''Gate Through the Past'', which was sent to various magazines the following February, getting positive reviews. ''A Gate Through the Past'' is the début full-length album by the Italian symphonic power metal band Holy Knights. It was first released in Japan on January 23, 2002 via Tokuma and re-released by Underground Symphony worldwide on June 5. ''Between Daylight and Pain'' is the second full-length album by the Italian symphonic power metal band Holy Knights. It was first released in Japan on June 13, 2012 via Rubicon Music and re-released by Scarlet Records worldwide on August 28. Track listing Background and production In 2002 Holy Knights released their début album, '' A Gate Through the Past'', and experienced departure of the guitarists Danny Merthon and Federico Madonia, who were replaced by Simone Campione. The singer Dario Di Matteo and the bassist, Vincenzo Noto built Raven Studio to take care of pre-production of the second album. However, the band soon decided to take a break to concentrate on their other bands. The hiatus lasted until 2010, when Di Matteo, Campione and the drummer Claudio Florio reunited the band to finish the album. Sword is a Canadian heavy metal band from Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec, that was formed in 1981 and is still active to this day. To date, they have released two studio albums and are scheduled to release a third one in November 2022. Introspection is the examination of one's own Consciousness, conscious thoughts and feelings. In psychology, the process of introspection relies on the observation of one's Mental representation, mental state, while in a Spirituality, spiritual context it may refer to the examination of one's soul. Progressive metal (sometimes shortened to prog metal) is a broad fusion music genre melding heavy metal and progressive rock, combining the loud "aggression" and amplified guitar-driven sound of the former with the more experimental, cerebral or "pseudo-classical" compositions of the latter. Rhapsody of Fire (formerly known as Rhapsody) is an Italian symphonic power metal band formed by Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli, widely seen as a pioneer of the symphonic power metal subgenre. Since forming in 1993 as Thundercross, the band has released twelve studio albums, two live albums, three EPs, and a Live DVD. Rhapsody of Fire is known for its conceptual lyrics that constitute a fantasy story throughout all of their albums from 1997 to 2011.
