Holly Gillibrand
Holly Gillibrand (born 2005) is a Scottish environmental activist. Overview Gillibrand is an organizer foFridays for Future Scotland She serves as a youth advisor for the charity Heal Rewilding, which aims to return more land to nature, as well as being a young ambassador for Scotland: The Big Picture and a campaigner for animal welfare charity OneKind. She has written for the Lochaber Times. Gillibrand was named the 2019 Glasgow Times Young Scotswoman of the Year. She was also named by BBC Radio 4 as one of 30 inspiring women on its Woman's Hour Power List 2020, and was interviewed on the show. Alok Sharma (born 7 September 1967) is a British politician who served as the President for COP26 from 2021-2022. Resigning his previous position as Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in order to lead COP26, he retained full Cabinet status from January 2021 to October 2022 as Minister of State for the Cabinet Office. Sharma has been the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for Reading West since 2010. Sharma served in Theresa May's government as Minister of State for Housing from 2017 to 2018 and as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Employment from 2018 to 2019. North Sea oil is a mixture of hydrocarbons, comprising liquid petroleum and natural gas, produced from petroleum reservoirs beneath the North Sea. In the petroleum industry, the term "North Sea" often includes areas such as the Norwegian Sea and the area known as "West of Shetland", "the Atlantic Frontier" or "the Atlantic Margin" that is not geographically part of the North Sea. Brent crude is still used today as a standard benchmark for pricing oil, although the contract now refers to a blend of oils from fields in the northern North Sea. Christopher Gary Packham CBE (born 4 May 1961) is an English naturalist, nature photographer, television presenter and author, best known for his television work including the CBBC children's nature series '' The Really Wild Show'' from 1986 to 1995. School Strike for Climate ( sv, Skolstrejk för klimatet), also known variously as Fridays for Future (FFF), Youth for Climate, Climate Strike or Youth Strike for Climate, is an international movement of school students who skip Friday classes to participate in demonstrations to demand action from political leaders to prevent climate change and for the fossil fuel industry to transition to renewable energy.
