Saskia Holleman (20 May 1945 – 10 June 2013) was a Dutch actress, lawyer and model. She became widely known in the Netherlands when a picture in which she was naked in a meadow was used by the left-wing, pacifist political party Pacifist Socialist Party for its electoral campaign during the 1971 Dutch general election. Frederik 'Frits' David Holleman (11 May 1887 – 22 January 1958) was a Dutch and South African academic, ethnologist, and jurist, best known for his research into the indigenous legal systems of the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) and South Africa. Biography Frederik Holleman was born in Potchefstroom in the South African Republic (now a part of South Africa) in 1887 to a Dutch father and South African mother. His family later moved to the Netherlands; and he went to school in Kampen (1901–07) before studying law at Leiden University (1907–11). He received his doctorate in law from Leiden University in 1911, where he was supervised by Cornelis van Vollenhoven, a professor and legal scholar best known for his work on the legal systems the Dutch East Indies. Jesse Boyce Holleman (February 26, 1924 – November 21, 2003) was an American war veteran, attorney, politician, and actor. Boyce Holleman was born in Fruitland Park, MS, to a family that made their living in timber and construction. As a Naval Aviator in World War II, he was shot down while making a bomb run during the invasion of Saipan and spent 14 months recovering from severe injuries. He achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander and was awarded the Purple Heart. Holleman attended Perkinston Junior College, now Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, at Perkinston, MS and the University of Mississippi at Oxford, MS. Holleman was a Research Affiliate at MIT Media Lab with the Social Computing Group (2014–17), and a Visiting Scholar (2013–14). Holloman Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base established in 1942 located six miles (10 km) southwest of the central business district of Alamogordo, and a census-designated place in Otero County, New Mexico, United States.
