Holding Back
''Holding Back'' is a Hindi short film, directed, written and co-produced by Wilson Louis. Starring Seema Biswas, Anant Mahadevan, and Kunal Kumar - the film is a true story about a mother's deepest emotion to hold back her tears, to save her son from enduring any more pain. Plot Holding Back is based on a true incident involving a Mother, her Son and an important journey.  In 1999, a Mother and her Son were travelling together to a wedding.  Because of the situation surrounding their trip, the inevitable tragedy took place. The Mother, determined to spare her Son any further pain, was forced to rise up, to dig within herself for almost inhuman strength, in order to face the ensuing situation head on. Seema Biswas
Seema Biswas (born 14 January 1965) is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films and the theatre. She gained prominence after playing the role of Phoolan Devi in Shekhar Kapur's film ''Bandit Queen'' (1994), for which she won the National Film Award for Best Actress. She won the 2000 Sangeet Natak Akademi Award and the 2006 Best Actress Genie Award for her role as Shakuntala in Deepa Mehta's ''Water'' (2005). Ananth Mahadevan
Anant Mahadevan (born 28 August 1950), also credited as Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, is an Indian screenwriter, actor, and film director of Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil films and television shows. Pradeep Shantaram Patwardhan (8 February 1958 – 9 August 2022) was an Indian actor and comedian who predominantly worked in the Marathi theatre. His role in Marathi play Moruchi Mavshi led him to stardom.
