Holderen
Holderen is a lake on the border between Sweden and Norway. The Norwegian part is located inside Blåfjella–Skjækerfjella National Park in Snåsa Municipality in Trøndelag county and the Swedish part is located in Åre Municipality in Jämtland County. Snåsa Municipality
(Norwegian language, Norwegian; ) or ; /ˈsnɔ̯ɑse/ is a List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in Trøndelag Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is part of the Innherred Districts of Norway, region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Snåsa (village), Snåsa. Other villages include Agle and Jørstad. The municipality is the 23rd largest by area out of the 357 municipalities in Norway. Snåsa is the 275th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 2,114 inhabitants. Jämtland County
Jämtland County (, ) is a county or '' län'' in Sweden. It consists of the provinces of Jämtland and Härjedalen, along with minor parts of Hälsingland and Ångermanland, plus two small strips of Lapland and Dalarna. It borders the counties of Dalarna, Gävleborg, Västernorrland, and Västerbotten, as well as the Norwegian county of Trøndelag. The Norway–Sweden border (, ) is a long land national border, and the longest border for both Norway and Sweden. It is an external border for the European Union, EU (Sweden). History The border has changed several times because of war. Before 1645, Jämtland, Härjedalen, Idre/Särna parish, and Bohuslän belonged to Norway. The border changes were defined in the Second Treaty of Brömsebro (1645), Treaty of Brömsebro (1645), the Treaty of Roskilde (1658) and the Treaty of Copenhagen (1660). Blåfjella–Skjækerfjella National Park
Blåfjella–Skjækerfjella National Park (, ) lies in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is the third largest national park on the Norwegian mainland and one of the largest remaining true wilderness areas. It is located in the municipalities of Verdal, Snåsa, Grong, Lierne, and Steinkjer. The terrain is characterized by mountain plains, lakes, forested valleys, marshes, and a few mountain peaks (''Midtliklumpen'' reaches above sea level).
