Hold On (Rapture Ruckus EP)
''Hold On'' is an EP released on 8 June 2010 through Parachute by the New Zealand Hip Hop/ Rock band Rapture Ruckus. The Album is a New Zealand release of the debut EP Rapture Ruckus which is being released through Tooth & Nail records. A pre release of the EP was made available on 29 January 2010 at the Parachute Music Festival 640 copies were printed and all sold in the first 24 hours of the festival. The EP charted at No. 7 on the NZ Top 40 albums chart and No. 1 on the NZ Independent albums chart. Rapture Ruckus was a Christian hip hop and rock band from Wellington, New Zealand signed to BEC Recordings. Parachute Music
Parachute Music is a not-for-profit music organisation from New Zealand. It was formed in 1989 and runs a hub of studio facilities and artist/producer support programmes in Kingsland, Auckland. From 1992 to 2014, the organisation ran the annual Parachute Festival, which grew to become a staple of the Kiwi summer, regularly attracting an audience of 25,000+ to the four-day festival. It also previously provided Artist Management services including: Parachute Records, Parachute Publishing, and artist training. Discontinuing the festival in 2014, the organisation now runs an artist and producer community in their Kingsland HQ which includes 12 music studios and various support programmes. Tooth & Nail Records is a Christian rock record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle, Washington where it is situated today. It is home to many well-known musical acts, including Underoath, Hawk Nelson, Emery, The Almost, FM Static, Family Force 5, Anberlin, and MxPx. Tooth & Nail's first album released was Wish for Eden's ''Pet the Fish'', which was produced by Michael Knott and originally slated to be released by Blonde Vinyl. Juliagrace is a New Zealand professional speaker and award-winning singer and songwriter. At the age three, she played the piano and performed to large crowds at twelve. From 2000 to 2005, she was the lead vocalist for the Auckland-based live electronica outfit ''Elevator''. Parachute Band was a Christian worship band from Auckland, New Zealand, formed out of the New Zealand-based organisation Parachute Music. The band made pop/rock music and spanned over two generations of musicians. 1995–2006 The first Parachute Band line-up was formed in 1995 to lead worship at Parachute Festival. Parachute Band began recording New Zealand-written contemporary worship music, performing it both in New Zealand and worldwide.
