Hold My Hand (Sean Paul Song)
"Hold My Hand" is the third single from reggae artist Sean Paul's album '' Imperial Blaze''. A Spanish version of the song called "Agarra mi mano" was released in Latin America to promote the album although the track is not included in it, the song has received successful airplay in Latin America radios. The Latin American version can, however, be found on iTunes. The iTunes version also has this song with lyrics by Keri Hilson included. Music video The music video was released on 9 December 2009. It was directed by Little X, who had worked with Sean on six different videos before: " Gimme the Light", " Get Busy", " I'm Still In Love With You", "Temperature", " (When You Gonna) Give It Up To Me" and " Come Over". Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques (born 9 January 1973) is a Jamaican dancehall musician. Paul's first album, ''Stage One'', was released in 2000. He gained international fame with his second album, ''Dutty Rock'', in 2002. Its single "Get Busy" topped the US Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart in the United States, as did "Temperature (song), Temperature", off his third album, ''The Trinity (album), The Trinity'' (2005). The song was one of the many hits from the jumpy handclap riddim known as the Diwali Riddim, produced by then-newcomer Steven Marsden, and was the only song that never made the "Diwali" rhythm album on Greensleeves Records as it was more than likely a late entry. Paul described it as "mainly a party song. It's not all about smoking weed".
