Hitman (Marvel Comics)
Hitman is the name of three fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history Burt Kenyon first appeared in ''The Spectacular Spider-Man'' #4 (March 1977), and was created by Archie Goodwin and Sal Buscema. The character subsequently appears in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #174-175 (Nov.–Dec. 1977), in which he is killed. The character appears posthumously in the ''Punisher: Return to Big Nothing'' graphic novel (1989). Jimmy Pierce first appeared in ''The Punisher'' vol. 2 #86 to serve as the Cullen Crime Family's Punisher. He was created by Steven Grant and Hugh Haynes.
