Hiroyoshi Kamata
is a Japanese footballer who is forward currently playing for Auckland United in the New Zealand National League Northern League. He was educated at and played for Albirex Niigata U18 before moving to Singapore. Club career Albirex Niigata Singapore Kamata signed for Albirex Niigata Singapore, the satellite team of Albirex Niigata ahead of the 2016 S.League season and also played for the under-15 and under-17 Japanese national teams. He scored on his league debut against DPMM on 13 February 2016, scoring in the 36th minute. On 9 January 2018, he was registered as an overage player due to new rule regulations. In 2018, he embarked on a week-long trial with their parent club in Japan. He renewed his contract with the White Swans for the 2019 season. Fukui United After 5 years in Singapore, Kamata returns to Japan to join Fukui United on 15 February 2021 which is playing in the Hokushinetsu Football League. Singapore Cup
The Singapore Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Singaporean football. Established in 1998, it is the foremost prestigious cup competition in the country. It is open to clubs in the Singapore Premier League. Since 2005, foreign teams from other countries in Southeast Asia are occasionally invited to compete in the Singapore Cup. Thailand club, Chonburi was the first foreign club reaching the final in 2006 (they lost 3–2 in the final to local club Tampines Rovers). In 2009, Bangkok Glass became the second foreign team to reach the final, losing against local club Geylang United, but they beat Tampines Rovers in 2010 to become the first foreign winners of the Singapore Cup. 2018 Singapore Premier League
The 2018 Singapore Premier League (also known as the Great Eastern Hyundai Singapore Premier League due to sponsorship reasons) was the inaugural season of the Singapore Premier League, the top-flight Singaporean professional league for association football clubs. The season began on 31 March 2018, and concluded on 3 October 2018. Albirex Niigata (S) won the league and successfully defended their title. Each team will receive $888,200 if they meet key performance indicators that will be made known to them before the 31 March kick-off. The Singapore Premier League, commonly abbreviated as the SPL, officially known as the AIA Singapore Premier League for sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional football league sanctioned by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), which represents the sport's highest level in the Singapore football league system.
