Hip-hop or hip hop (originally disco rap) is a popular music Music genre, genre that emerged in the early 1970s from the African Americans, African-American community of New York City. The style is characterized by its synthesis of a wide range of musical techniques. Hip-hop includes rapping often enough that the terms can be used synonymously. However, "hip-hop" more properly denotes an entire hip-hop culture, subculture. Other key markers of the genre are the disc jockey, turntablism, scratching, beatboxing, and hip hop production, instrumental tracks. Cultural interchange has always been central to the hip-hop genre. It simultaneously borrows from its social environment while commenting on it. ATIC Records
''ATIC Records'' is an independent record label formed by British musician, DJ and producer, Aim (Andy Turner) and Niko (Nicole Vergel de Dios). They left Grand Central Records in early 2005 and started ATIC Records in June 2006. As there had been limited funds available to promote his releases and attract guest performers, Turner had decided to move away from Grand Central prior to that label's collapse. Rather than sign to a new label, Turner decided to form his own, and in doing so gained greater control over the process of releasing his records and co-ordinating live performances. Much of the artwork used for the label's releases and on the label's website was created by artist Alicia Vergel de Dios, sister of Niko. Black Butter Records is a British record label based in London, England. Founded in 2010 by Olly Wood, Henry Village and Joe Gossa, the self-funded start-up went on to become an established tastemaker label, and one part of a camp of music-related businesses in addition to management and publishing. The record label had early association with Clean Bandit, Rudimental, Jessie Ware, MNEK, and Gorgon City. In a 2013 interview - that recognised the network of artists coming through Black Butter were at the forefront of an emerging scene - Henry said: “People's taste seems really broad right now. Gionata Boschetti (; born 7 December 1992), known professionally as Sfera Ebbasta (), is an Italian rapper. He rose to prominence after the release of ''XDVR'' (2015), recorded with the collaboration of producer Charlie Charles and DEACC, which achieved commercial success in Italy. This success was replicated with ''Sfera Ebbasta'' (2016), '' Rockstar'' (2018) and its re-issue ''Popstar Edition'' (2018), and ''Famoso'' (2020). Big Beat Records, Inc. is an American electronic and dance music record label, owned by Warner Music Group and operates through Atlantic Records. Beluga Heights Records is an American record label established by record producer J. R. Rotem. The label is known for discovering and developing Sean Kingston, Iyaz, Mann, and Jason Derulo. In September 2020, Beluga Heights was acquired by Cinq Music Group.
