''Himmat'' is a Bollywood films of 1941, 1941 Bollywood Hindi film. It starred Manorama, Radha and Ragni. The film features the first-ever version of the popular song "Inhi Logon Ne", sung by Shamshad Begum. This song was then used in the 1943 film ''Aabroo (1943 film), Aabroo'' and was sung by yesteryear comic actor Yakub (actor), Yakub. "Inhi Logon Ne" gained popularity and recognition from the 1972 film, ''Pakeezah'', in which it was sung by Lata Mangeshkar, and picturised on Meena Kumari. References External links

Himmat (1970 Film)
''Himmat'' () is a 1970 Hindi-language action film, produced by P. Mallikharjuna Rao under the Bharathi International Films banner and directed by Ravikant Nagaich. It stars Jeetendra, Mumtaz and music composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film is remake of Telugu film '' Adrushtavanthulu'' (1968). Plot Raghu, a notorious criminal, is acquitted from jail as reformed when he challenges Inspector Mathur to prove himself. Raghu’s previous hoodlum chair gives him a warm welcome, which he denies and quits. Yet, the Boss covets to get hold of him due to his caliber. Raghu gets acquainted with a mechanic, Tiger, and becomes a truck driver. Once, he hit on a beautiful girl, Malti, in male guise. Later, Raghu discovers the actuality, and she flees from the house. Babu Himmat Sah
Babu Himmat Sah was the founder and the first ruler of Kohra (estate) of Oudh, British India (now in Amethi district, Uttar Pradesh, India) and belongs from Bandhalgoti clan of Rajput. He was the younger son of Raja Bikram Sah, who was the Raja of Amethi. He built Kohra on the day of Ganga Dussehra in 1636 and also established Lord Chaturbhuj and Shiva temple as the first establishment, then built Kohra Fort, where he was crowned. Kohra (estate)
Kohra was an estate (taluqdari) of Oudh, British India. The taluqdari was controlled by the Bandhalgoti clan of Rajputs. Now it is part of Amethi district in Uttar Pradesh, India. History Narwar Nagar of Madhya Pradesh was the native place of this Taluq. Rajkumar Sodh Dev of Narwargarh founded the Amethi state in 966 and became the first Raja of Amethi. Rajkumar Himmat Sah, the younger son of Raja Bikram Sah, his descendant, established Kohra (estate) on the day of Ganga Dussehra in 1636 and established Lord Chaturbhuj and Shiva temple as the first establishment, then built Kohra Fort, where he was crowned. Rajmohan Gandhi
Rajmohan Gandhi (born 7 August 1935) is an Indian biographer, historian, politician and research professor at the Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, US. His paternal grandfather is Mahatma Gandhi, and his maternal grandfather is Chakravarthi Rajagopalachari. He is also a scholar in residence at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar.
